Living Stone

This is an example of a medium planter that I made.  I use a 3 to 1 ratio of potting soil and sand.  I then use gravel or pebbles to cover the soil.  The lower plant is a living stone and currently it is dividing.  The old portion should dry up and the new portion will take over.  This is such a unique plant, at one stage it has a flower that looks like a daisy.  They are quite temperamental.  They will soak up all the water in the container, like a sponge, and crack open.  I have not had the best luck with this plant and of course I have lots of request for them.
